Karrie joined AutonomyWorks in 2013 and became CEO in 2025. Over more than a decade with the company, she has led nearly every part of the business, building strong client relationships, advancing operations, and developing talent across the organization. Her leadership is central to AutonomyWorks' growth and its mission change the way the world views people with autism.
Before AutonomyWorks, Karrie spent more than fifteen years working with individuals with disabilities to achieve independence in their professional and personal lives. As an Employment Specialist with the LaGrange Area Department of Special Education (LADSE), she focused on vocational rehabilitation and transitioning high school students into competitive employment, collaborating with businesses to align opportunities with individual strengths.
Karrie has also created programs to help individuals with autism gain independence, including social clubs, a high school training curriculum, and an award-winning self-advocacy curriculum that has supported hundreds of people with disabilities in developing lifelong skills. She holds a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
Outside of work, Karrie enjoys traveling, reading, and supporting others in reaching their goals.
